Summer Cocktail Destination: New Orleans
Festivals are associated with art forms like film and music. This summer marks the tenth anniversary of a festival that celebrates a different form of self-expression: cocktail creation. From July 24 to July 29 the tenth annual Tales of the Cocktail Festival will take place in the French Quarter of the city of New Orleans.
With events ranging from “Bittercube Hands on Hand Made Bitters Lab” to “Indie Spirits That Rock,” the festival caters to amateur cocktail fans as well as experienced bartenders.
The event has become extremely popular, and tickets and hotel reservations are selling out fast. Known for the Sazarac, the city of New Orleans is steeped in cocktail tradition and the Tales of the Cocktail Festival should be among the summer destinations for casual drinkers and cocktail zealots alike.
