Interested in sipping Scotch from an oyster shell? According the Bowmore Distillery’s West Coast rep, Johnnie Mundel, that helps to marry the flavors for the perfect pairing. Bowmore is located on the Isle of Islay in Scotland and makes the kind of Scotch that Islay is known for: peaty and smokey. Mundel will be hosting an event at today’s LA Cocktail Classic on pairing oysters with Bowmore 12 Year. But for those of us who can’t make it to LA, here’s the video version instead:
