Rory Donovan, the co-founder of Peach Street Distillers, is overjoyed to win the Distillery of the Year Award from the American Distilling Institute, but less than thrilled about crying on stage in front of hundreds of people. Don’t sweat it, Rory- if it were us, we’d be crying hysterically up there.

Also on the winners list are Corsair Artisan Distillery (Best Artisan Distilled Whiskey), Jaxon Keys Winery & Distillery (Best Brandy), Turkey Shore Distilleries (Best Rum), High West Distillery (Bronze Medal for Silver Whiskey and OMG Pure Rye), Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery (Bronze Medal for Corn Whiskey), and Breukelen Distillery (Silver Medal for 77 Rye Whiskey).
