THL: What is it?

Siesta Key White Rum is produced with 100% organic Florida-grown sugar cane and distilled in a copper pot still.

THL: Why should you try it?

When Drum Circle Distilling decided to build a small artisan distillery in Sarasota, Florida they wanted to make sure they had the equipment that would enable them to make the best rum possible. They sought out the skills of Christian Carl in Germany to help create a customer small-batch copper pot still that fit their needs to perfect their rum flavor. They source all of their molasses from organic sugar cane grown on local Florida farms to support their community and the environment. The rum is filtered through activated carbon that is made from coconut husks, and works to smooth and round out the spirits edges without removing too much of the flavor. They have received a number of rum awards across the country since their first introduction to the market. Siesta Key Rum was initially only available in Florida, but demand has surged, and they can now be found online with bottles shipped across the country for a true taste of Florida sunshine.

THL: Who makes it?
