THL: What is it?
Pacifique is made in exact accordance to a classic 1855 French recipe using green anise, wormwood and fennel, as well as angelica root, coriander, roman wormwood, hyssop and melissa.
THL: Why should you try it?
Especially when sipping a spirit characterized by its herbal inclusions, you can't go wrong if it's made by herb experts. Pacific Distillery began as a family herb business. The distillery uses botanicals from their own garden and from Italy, France, Spain, Sri Lanka and North Africa to craft their quality spirits.
In addition to careful consideration of their botanicals, Pacific makes their absinthe absolutely true to 19th century style in traditional pot stills.
THL: Who makes it?
Pacific is a family-owned herb garden turned distillery. They also make Voyager Dry Gin.
THL: What does it taste like?
Anise, floral, grassy
THL: How should you drink it?
Highlight this spirit's citrus notes in a Monkey Gland cocktail with gin, orange juice and grenadine.
