Kings County Moonshine is un-aged whiskey distilled from organic New York corn and malted Scottish barley.

THL: Why should you try it?

This moonshine is much like the distillery it comes from -it keeps a low profile, and yet still manages to receive international recognition for its style and quality. The moonshine comes in a small, simple bottle with a typewritten label.

THL: Who makes it?

Kings County is New York's first distillery since Prohibition. The farm distillery was founded in 2010, and has received a variety of media coverage in publications like the New York Times, The Associated Press and Wired Magazine.

sweet, malty cereal
