THL: What is it?

Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey is a nod to Rogue's Dead Guy Ale. The whiskey is made with the same four grains that are used to make the beer: Northwest Harrington, Maier Munich, Klages and Carastan malts.

THL: Why should you try it?

Rogue is one of Oregon's classic breweries, well-known for its history in the state's craft brewing movement. We appreciate that one of its finer whiskeys is a replica of the same mash that they've crafted into Dead Guy Ale since 1991.

THL: Who makes it?

In 2003, Rogue began distilling small-batch rum and then moved into gin, vodka and whiskey.

THL: What does it taste like?

Cereal sweetness with a spicy finish

THL: How should you drink it?

Try this spirit in a Whiskey Sour.
