Crop Organic Tomato Vodka
THL: What is it?
Crop Organic Tomato Vodka is made from 100% organic, Minnesota-grown grains and flavored with fresh tomatoes. The number of times it is distilled depends on the batch.
THL: Why should you try it?
Not all savory spirits are for everyone, but this crisp, refreshing vodka is bound to please any palate. It combines both the residual sweetness and saltiness that you'd expect from fresh tomatoes.
Crop is marketed as "the cleanest vodka," not only for its smooth flavors but also because it is made from 100% organic grain. Each batch is distilled as many times as it takes to achieve this level of purity.
THL: Who makes it?
Crop Organic Vodka is a brand owned by Chatham Imports. The vodkas themselves are distilled in Minnesota where all of the grain used to distill them is grown.
THL: What does it taste like?
Ripe tomatoes right off the vine
THL: How should you drink it?
Try this spirit in a Bloody Mary, known by the Crop brand as a Red Snapper:
2 oz Crop Organic Tomato Vodka
2 oz tomato juice
1 pinch salt and black pepper
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
Pour vodka into a tall tumbler. Add ice, and the rest of the ingredients. Roll (pour into shaker and back into glass) to mix. Garnish with a lemon twist.
