THL: What is it?

Charbay Meyer Lemon Vodka is made from Charbay Winery and Distillery's Clear Vodka, a blend of American Midwest corn and rye, then flavored with Meyer lemons from Central California.

THL: Why should you try it?

The Master Distiller at Charbay Winery and Distillery picks lemons each winter. He makes an extraction from the fruit and skin of the lemons, which goes into flavoring this vodka.

THL: Who makes it?

Father and son Miles and Marko Karakasevic do the distilling and winemaking at this family-run operation. Miles and his wife Jenni own the facility in Napa Valley where they work closely with Marko and his wife Susan. They produce seven kinds of vodka, including Ruby Red Grapefruit, Green Tea, Blood Orange and Clear, as well as tequila, whiskey, rum, liqueur, brandy, grappa, and pastis.

THL: What does it taste like?

It's smooth and creamy, both sweet and sour.

THL: How should you drink it?

Make yourself a Lemon Drop with a splash of Perrier.
