THL: What is it?

Buffalo Trace Bourbon is a whiskey distilled with corn, rye and barley malt, well known for both it's flavor and the award-winning distillery where it is made.

THL: Why should you try it?

It is a great introductory bourbon because of its exceptional quality. Its simplicity is one of its greatest assets. Buffalo Trace Bourbon is a tribute to the pioneers who crossed the Kentucky River before settling in present-day Frankfort. They just happened to pick the ideal location for producing some of the best bourbons on the market. The pure limestone bedrock makes for incredibly pure water, and the rich riverbed loam made for the perfect fertile grounds for exceptional grains that industrious pioneers quickly distilled into top-notch hooch.

THL: Who makes it?

Buffalo Trace is one of America’s oldest distilleries and a model for the kind of success that follows a commitment to quality, a willingness to experiment, readiness to push boundaries, and bravery to pioneer uncharted territory.

THL: What does it taste like?

Buffalo Trace Bourbon is bright and mild with a sweet and spicy caramel flavor.

THL: How should you drink it?

The Brighton Punch is a classic and complexly flavored cocktail that is a great fit for Buffalo Trace Bourbon as it’s a whiskey that is willing to share the spotlight.
