A close cousin to bourbon, Tennessee whiskey is also primarily made with corn. It’s also made in Tennessee and, before barrel-aging, most are filtered through local sugar maple charcoal. Tennessee whiskey is also considered a sour mash but is usually lighter, smoother and sweeter than bourbon.
