Whiskey Crusta

Whiskey Crusta Cocktail

Bartender Stories

Mike Henderson

This mid 1800’s New Orleans cocktail has a distinctive look and traditionally made with Brandy. The Crusta gets its hallmark look from two distinct elements: the sugar-crusted rim and the lemon rind rim made on the inside of the wine glass from the peel of one whole lemon. Not an easy drink to make, but absolutely worth the effort. It’s hard to go wrong with whiskey, Grand Mariner and lemon.
