With hipster style and a casual feel, Rob Roy offers an excellent selection of spirits and tons of interesting characters on the cocktail menu. Anu Apt, Bryn Lumsden and the rest of the team focus on seasonal products to maintain freshness and quality as cornerstones of their drink-making. Blocks of ice are hand carved and chiseled to order in spherical “rock” formation. If you haven’t done it, ordering something “on the rock” is pretty awesome. (Recommended by Jamie Boudreau)

A neighborhood joint, with classic cocktails, an uncommon beer selection, and all the rustic pub fare you’d want. The bar and kitchen alike are seasonal, local, and organic as much as possible. With all the animals on the walls and salvaged materials used to decorate the place, it’s safe to say that the design fits the fare. Locals and visitors fall in love with the quality cocktail/gastropub style and personable staff, which is why Smith is a bustling neighborhood staple. Go in for a weekend brunch or delish dinner, but please try a drink! The Gin Rickey No. 3 (Plymouth gin, lime, simple syrup, Green Chartreuse, club soda) is in their number one spot right now.
