Ilan has a degree in journalism which he’s used to write about travel, drinking, dining, music, charity and art. To support all his research, he has worked as a landscaper, bartender, marketer, copywriter, and more. For many years, Ilan has been a server and now a sommelier, developing a passion for food and drink fostered by his travelogue of a life that so far includes 17 countries and 35 states. He currently lives in Denver, wants a dog, drinks whiskey and wishes he were a little taller.
